OCTOBER 22-27, 2020
Same great tour, different date! On December 8, 1991, the popular “60 Minutes” TV program proclaimed Branson the “live music capital of the entire universe.” There were only 22 theaters in operation. Today, Branson has more than twice that many, due in part to that turning-point proclamation. Many agree that “60 Minutes” launched Branson into a new era of growth by revealing to the world the wonderful playground of fun and entertainment this small southwest Missouri town had become. Performers, visitors, developers and new residents flocked to see what was going on. Join us for a packed itinerary which will include 3 shows per day, a paddle showboat, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, and so much more! An added bonus: Historically, this week is Branson's peak fall foliage season!
DAY 1 - THURSDAY
Fly to Springfield Missouri from Burlington, accompanied by your Tour Manager. Board our private motor coach and prepare to be embraced by southern hospitality as we transfer to our hotel in Branson, Missouri. Settle into your hotel before departing for the Uptown Café for dinner.
This evening, we jump right into the extraordinary entertainment that has made Branson famous… that’s right, Jim Stafford is back! Jim Stafford has returned to the newly renovated Jim Stafford Theater to celebrate his 28th year performing in Branson! The singer, songwriter, comedian, guitar virtuoso, and consummate entertainer is bringing everything back to the stage that made us vote him the best entertainer, best personality, and best comedy show. With some of his original band members joining him back on stage, this is a celebration you do not want to miss!
