AMERICA'S NORTHERN ROCKIES

GRAND TETON • YELLOWSTONE • GLACIER & THE IDAHO PANHANDLE

AUGUST 13 – 23, 2027

EXPERIENCE THE WILD HEART OF THE AMERICAN WEST

Some journeys are measured in miles. Others are measured in moments that stay with you for a lifetime.

Stand beneath the towering granite peaks of Grand Teton National Park as morning light paints the mountains in shades of gold. Feel the ground rumble beneath your feet as Old Faithful erupts high into the Wyoming sky. Ride Glacier National Park's legendary Red Jammer buses along Going-to-the-Sun Road, where every turn reveals waterfalls cascading from alpine cliffs and breathtaking views stretching for miles.

Yet this journey is about far more than America's iconic national parks.

Travel Idaho's spectacular Sawtooth Mountains, where crystal-clear rivers wind through rugged wilderness and Ernest Hemingway found both inspiration and peace. Walk across ancient lava flows at Craters of the Moon National Monument, a landscape so surreal Apollo astronauts once trained here before walking on the moon.

Discover Montana's rich ranching heritage before wandering beneath ancient cedar forests in the Idaho Panhandle. Spend three relaxing nights in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, where sparkling lakes, charming downtown streets, and mountain scenery invite you to slow down and simply enjoy the moment. Experience an authentic cultural presentation and traditional dinner with the Coeur d'Alene Tribe, gaining a deeper appreciation for the Schitsu'umsh people who have called this remarkable region home for centuries.

The adventure concludes with an exhilarating jetboat journey into Hells Canyon, the deepest river gorge in North America, where dramatic cliffs, abundant wildlife, and the stories of Lewis and Clark bring the frontier vividly to life.

Beautifully paced and thoughtfully designed, this fully escorted Champlain Tours Signature Journey combines breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, welcoming communities, and unforgettable experiences into one extraordinary exploration of America's Northern Rockies.
